Vincent C. Fynan Sr. Has Crossed The Bar
Vincent C. Fynan Sr. of Mootestown, N.J. passed away on Saturday November 12, 2016. He was 94.
Born in Riverside, he graduated from Riverside High School. Upon graduating, he worked for the A&P Tea Company where he held various roles until his retirement in 1984.
He proudly served his country in World War II as a seaman on the Coast Guard Cutter Campbell. He was an active member of the Campbell Association up until his death and loved attending their annual reunions.
Vince was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 71 years, Marge (Kelly). He is survived by hs children, Vincent C. Fynan Jr. (Janice0, Jane Connelly, (Albert), Michael (Meg), Peggy, and Donna. He was the grandfather of Jeffrey Fynan, Danielle Shah (Ravi), Jenine Fynan (Mike), Scott Connelly (Taryn), Kevin Connelly (Danielle), Maggie Fynan, Michael Fynan, Jr., Bridget Fynan and Tricia Fynan; great-grandfather of Nathan and Erin Shah, andEdie Rose Lippincott; and uncle to many loving nieces and Nephews. He was also prceded in death by three brother, Martin, Fraancis, John and three sisters, Madeline, Catherine, adele.
Visitation will be private. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11: oo AM on Thursday, November 17, 2016 at Sacred Heart Church, 4th Street and Linden Avenue, Riverton, NJ 08077. Interment will be held privately at a later date.
